Reception Christmas Church Visit

Reception had a really exciting morning!

We went to St George's church and met with Adam the vicar. Adam showed us around the church and we talked about the different  parts of the church and the different objects we noticed inside the church like the altar, the font and the beautiful stained glass window. We also observed how Christmas is celebrated in the Church and admired the beautiful nativity scene. We could talk about the different characters present in the scene and remembered what we had been learning about in our R.E. lessons.

We had a lovely time!
