Remember, 3 Dojos are awarded for each completed homework!
Reading
Please send reading bags into school every day so we can ensure your child has an appropriate book to support their comprehension and fluency.
We encourage reading every night to support your child’s learning. When your child reads, record and sign this in their reading record. A reading reward sticker will be given to every child that has read at least five nights every week for 10 minutes. Reading records are monitored on Fridays. Pupils are invited to complete an Accelerated Reader Quiz each time they finish a book. As well as physical books borrowed from school pupils can log in to the Liverpool Library (free to register: https://liverpool.overdrive.com/library/kids) to read a selection of E-Books from home.

PE
For Spring 1, 5D will have PE on Wednesday afternoons when we will have gymnastics. On Wednesdays, your child can wear their PE kit to come to school. Kits must be in accordance with school our uniform. Please label PE kits and water bottles to prevent items getting lost.
If you are informed that our class is scheduled for swimming lessons:
- Swimming caps are required to enter the pool.
- Goggles are advised for your child's comfort in the water.
Other queries
If you have any questions, I am available for you to speak to at the end of the school day or please ring the school office and I will return your call as soon as possible.
Thank you,
Mr Davies
