Residentials

Year 1 - Year 6 Educational Residentials 2024/2025

 

As part of our plan for this academic year, we arrange educational residentials linked to our INSPIRE curriculum for the children in each class from Year 1 - Year 6. We take a cautious approach to arranging any residentials however feel that these experiences are a vital part of children’s learning, both educationally and socially and for each residential will be maximising the range of experiences that the children encounter. 

Year 6 will go to Edinburgh Wednesday 13^th – 15^th November 2024

• Tours around houses of Parliament, castle, museums and to see a show!

 

and the Water Park, Lake District June 2025 (places are limited)

• Adventure activities - climbing, canoeing, ghyll scrambling and lots more……

 

Year 5 will go to Crosby Hall Wednesday 19^th – 21^st March 2025

• Adventure activities - climbing, abseiling, caving and lots more……

 

Year 4 will go to London, Monday 10^th – Wed 12^th March 2025

• Tours around London, houses of Parliament, museums and to see a show!

 

Year 3 will go to Cardiff, Wednesday 26^th – 28^th February 2025

• Tour around Cardiff, BBC Cymru Wales studio tour, visit to national museums, Senedd (Welsh Parliament) and more…

 

Year 2 will go to Hothersall Lodge Wednesday 9^th – 11^th April 2025

• Adventure activities such as caving, climbing, nightline, eco trial etc.

 

Year 1 Barnstondale, Monday 30^th June – Wednesday 2^nd July 2025

• Adventure activities such as caving, climbing, nightline, eco trial etc.
