Lesson: Understanding the World

Class: Reception A Year: 2022 - 2023

Reception wore their own clothes day today (black, red and yellow) and brought in £1 to raise money for New Hope School in Uganda. We were really interested to learn about what the Ugandan flag looked like and researched the name of the bird on the crest (it was a Grey Crowned Crane). We made our own flags too. We talked about how Uganda was similar and also different to our school in Liverpool, and found out about the different animals that live in Uganda ??.
