Firework Safety

In worship we learnt all about firework safety. We learnt some interesting facts about fireworks, the dangers of them and how to stay safe whilst watching them. 

We learnt how only adults should go near a firework and light them. How we should wear gloves when holding sparklers and keep them at arm’s length. We even spoke about putting a sparkler into a carrot to make them even further away from our faces and we should have a bucket of cold water ready to dispose of the sparklers. We also learnt the importance of keeping our pets safe indoors as they can become scared easily. With all the important information about fireworks we will all have a safe bonfire night!
