Year 5 author visit to North Liverpool Academy
On Friday 22nd April, Year 5 spent the morning at North Liverpool Academy where they spent some time listening to children's author Jonathan Mears. He is the author of the well known "World of Norm" books written for upper primary school pupils.
He entertained us all by telling jokes, singing songs and telling us more about his work and where he finds inspiration for his books.
After that, the children spent an hour working in groups planning out an entertaining story based around a typical day in their own lives.
Both children and adults alike had a great time and it has spurred some children on to find out more about Jonathan's work.
