Year 5 and 6 visit to Liverpool Cathedral

Start: 14th Mar 2018 9:00am

This term in Year 5 and 6 we are learning about the biblical Easter story in our RE lessons. As part of this work we are visiting Liverpool Anglican Cathedral on Wednesday 14th March. The children will be taking part in a range of exciting Easter workshops.

The coach will depart school at 9am and will return to school at 3.15pm. Children will need to wear their full school uniform (including black shoes) and must bring a warm coat with them.

Children will need to bring a healthy packed lunch with them on the day, which they will eat at the Cathedral (no fizzy drinks or crisps). If your child is entitled to free school meals then they will be provided with a packed lunch or they may bring their own. If your child is not entitled to free school meals but you would like to order a packed lunch from school, please indicate this on the return slip overleaf.

School are partly subsidising the trip, however we would ask for a voluntary donation of £3.00 towards the cost of the trip and coach. If we do not receive sufficient contributions, unfortunately, the trip will not be able to go ahead.

Please complete the slip on the letter on the paretns tab, and return to the class teacher by Friday 9th March, together with your voluntary contribution of £3.
